CELEBRATING 50 years of Dancing this year!
☑ Who are we?
Winnersh Dance Club is a friendy local social dance club founded in 1975. We meet every Thursday evening at Winnersh Community hall (except during our Summer break and seasonial holidays. We welcome all dance couples who have some dance experience. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to teach absolute beginners.
☑ Our dance evenings
Our dance evenings run from 7.45pm to 10pm. We have a 45min lesson taught by a qualified dance teacher. Each new dance routine is taught for 3 weeks so we have time to learn at a gentle pace. Members are also sent a video via 'WhatsApp' to use as a refresher. We follow this with a welcome break for tea/coffee and biscuits, (occasionally festive treats!). One hour social dancing, including a chance to practice the new routine, completes the evening. We also have several social dance events throughout the year, please see our yearly programme (on this website) for dates and times of our evenings and special events. We look forward to seeing you one evening.
☑ What do we dance
We dance Modern Ballroom, Latin, Jive, Sequence and occasionally line dance. Winnersh Hall is a spacious modern hall with a nice wood block dance floor. Free parking is available.
